It is university policy that no qualified person be excluded from participating in any university program or activity or otherwise be subjected to discrimination regarding any university program or activity. This policy derives from the commitment to non-discrimination for all persons in employment, 使用设施, 学生项目, 活动及服务. Individuals with a complaint are entitled to prompt and equitable resolution and may choose the appropriate university process.

Other individuals may begin the complaint process by filling out the ADA投诉表格. If you are unsure of how to begin or have general questions, please contact the ADA协调员.

收到ADA投诉表格后, the ADA协调员 or their designee shall convene the 艾达的团队 to review the complaint in a timely manner.  该团队包括但不限于高级工程师. Director of Business Services (or designee), the AVP of 人力资源, the ADA协调员. 代表特定的附加成员, credentialed professional expertise pertinent to the situation may also be included. The 艾达的团队 will gather information from all involved parties prior to making a determination. The complainant may also request a meeting with the ADA协调员 as needed through the process.

The ADA协调员 (or designee) will submit a summary of the findings, recommendations and process for appeal to the involved parties, informing them of a decision within twenty-one (21) business days of receiving the complaint.  The decision of the 艾达的团队 may be appealed to the appropriate administrative party.

Individuals with grievances or complaints against the university based on violations of Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act or the Americans with Disabilities Act as Amended (ADAAA) also have the right to file a complaint with a designated federal agency.
